Future Solutions in HK IT Mission to Thailand

Jan 27-29, 2010

Thai Government approved its Second ICT Master Plan (2009-2012) in August 2009. The plan encourages greater use of ICT across the whole country, involving many sectors, and hence poses huge business potential for HK ICT companies. In view of this and to promote Hong Kong’s ICT industries, a Hong Kong IT Mission to Thailand was organized by HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council), HKSOA (Hong Kong Software Outsourcing Alliance) and HKWTIA (Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association), and led by Mr. Jeremy Godfrey, Government Chief Information Officer of Hong Kong SAR Government, during 27-29 January 2010.

Future Solutions, as a founding member of the HKSOA, is honor to be invited to join the delegation and representing the Hong Kong IT industry. Our Chief Operation Officer, Mr. Christopher Kong represented us in this mission and worked together with other 16 delegates to make this mission a success. The delegation had met with the Thailand MICT (Ministry of ICT) ;SIPA (Software Industry Promotion Agency) and many local industrial leaders. On second day of the mission, a seminar, with the theme Hong Kong your Best ICT Partner in Asia, was hosted by the delegation with more than 200 attendants from the Thailand IT industry. Our COO, Mr. Christopher Kong, as one of the speakers in this seminar, had shared the successful stories of Future Solutions to the audiences. The Mission ended with the visit to the software park after a series of business matching meetings.
