Co-organised by the Ministry of Commerce and Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the 4th Mainland-Hong Kong Services Industry Symposium was held on 13-14 July 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Symposium has been proven an effective platform for fostering business partnership between the mainland and Hong Kong service providers. This year, more than 500 industry players attended the Symposium with 300 coming from the mainland and 200 from Hong Kong, including senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce and the HKSAR government.
The ICT breakout session aims at providing a platform for experience-sharing and partnership-seeking among the ICT industry players between Mainland and Hong Kong. Our COO, Mr. Christopher Kong was very pleased to be invited by the organizer, as a representative of the local IT industry, to deliver a speech on the topics of “Experience Sharing on e-government outsourcing”. The speech is well received by the audience and follow up discussion was held until the master of ceremony called it down due to time limit. We hope this will not be the end but the start of the discussion.
